2. Membership
- Membership is open to any person who supports the objectives of the Society and who has paid annual membership dues set by the Society. Once a member has paid their annual dues they are considered to be in good standing.
- Active members may be recruited as museum volunteers to assist in the maintenance, operation and display of museum equipment, artifacts and archival material.
- Museum volunteers will be assigned duties by the Museum Director consistent with their skills and knowledge. Note: A criminal and driving record check may be required before duties are assigned.
- Museum volunteers a provided personal liability and injury insurance coverage while so engaged.
- will be issued uniforms for use when operating or displaying equipment in public or at special functions. Uniforms will be maintained by the members at their own expense.
- Annual membership dues will be waived on completion of 24 hours service per calendar year as a museum volunteer. Members with dues waived are considered in good standing.
- Members of the Society will adhere to the rules and regulations of the Lieutenant General E.C. Ashton Armoury Museum (LGen. E.C. Ashton Armoury) and will respect the customs and traditions of the military units based within. Failure to do so may result in dismissal from the Society.
