Welcome to the Ashton Armoury Museum
The Ashton Armoury Museum, located in the LGen E.C. Ashton Armoury, Vanalman Ave, Victoria, was established in 1994 to maintain, honour and promote the histories of our local Communications (Signals), Logistic, Medical and Military Police units, their Canadian Forces Branches and predecessor Army Corps.
The LGen E.C. Ashton Armoury Museum, strives for excellence in the acquisition, preservation, interpretation and presentation of historical artifacts associated with the resident Ashton Armoury units as part of the military heritage of Canada.
"I picked out Col. Ashton as a fighting officer. I did not know what he was as a medical officer but I knew he was a good fighting officer."Sam Hughes, Debates, 6 Feb 1917

Victoria, BC, Canada
Admission to the museum is by donation. A government issue photo ID is required.
The museum offers free parking to all visitors. Designated spaces are available for visitors with disabilities.
The museum serves to connect serving soldiers with what their predecessors accomplished. For civilians who have not seen military service, they show how terrible war can be and how much is owed to those who endured it. It helps remind people that the freedoms we take for granted have sometimes been bought with blood, sweat and tears.
