Hours of Operation
Year around 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (noon) Tuesday and Thursday. Special arrangements for viewing at other times may be made by contacting the museum in advance by email ashtonarmourymuseum@shaw.ca
Getting There
Public Transit:
- From Downtown Routes 30/31 “Royal Oak”
- From Swartz Bay/Sidney Routes 70/72 “Downtown” via Royal Oak Exchange transfer to 31 “James Bay”
Automobile:
- From Downtown Blanshard St/Hwy 17 North to Quadra Exit
- From Swartz Bay/Sidney Hwy 17 South to Vanalman Exit
Admission
Admission to the museum is by donation. The donations we receive help the museum maintain existing collection and add new exhibits and displays.
NOTE: The LGen E. C. Ashton Armoury is a working Canadian Armed Forces facility and as such government issued photo identification (ID) is required.
Parking
The museum offers free parking to all visitors. Designated spaces are available for visitors with disabilities.
